Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Tentmaker58 (the "Service"), provided by Tentmaker58 LLC ("Tentmaker58," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.

The Service

Tentmaker58 is a management platform for Seventh-day Adventist churches, conferences, and their programs — including membership and roster tracking, volunteer scheduling, Bible Bowl, and member communication (email and SMS).

Accounts

Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Entra External ID; Tentmaker58 never receives or stores your password. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

Organizations and Their Data

An Organization (church or conference) using Tentmaker58 is responsible for the information it enters and manages about its own members, volunteers, and program participants — including ensuring it has appropriate authority and, where a participant is a minor, appropriate parental/guardian permission, consistent with the Organization's own policies and applicable law. Tentmaker58 processes this information on the Organization's behalf to provide the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Send SMS or email communications to anyone who hasn't given the required consent
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or Organizations you're not authorized to access
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's normal operation

Communications (Email & SMS)

Email notifications are on by default and can be turned off in Settings at any time. SMS text notifications are off by default and only sent after you explicitly opt in from your account Settings; message frequency varies based on your schedule, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help.

Fees

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription; current plans and pricing are presented separately at signup or within the Service. Additional usage-based fees may apply to certain features (such as SMS messaging) and will be disclosed before you incur them. We'll give reasonable notice before changing fees for your Organization's plan.

Termination

You or your Organization may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required by law. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled after an account or Organization becomes inactive.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tentmaker58 LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
